How to Clean Stainless Steel Grill Grates

Keeping grill grates clean allows to maintain their great look, but that’s not the point here.

Clean grates ensure high comfort of cooking, a much smaller number of flare-ups and absence of burnt smell in food.

When it comes to stainless-steel grates, it is an incredibly simple task, much easier than in case of other types of grates. You don’t have to worry about damaging the ceramic or porcelain coating of grates, as there isn’t any.

It means that you can without a worry use the most effective grill wire brushes, which give the best results.

Just remember about regular cleaning so that your grill can always be clean and ready to use.

  • Step 3 – Coat the grates with oil. You may spread the oil over the entire surface of the grill grates using a paper towel or a regular cloth.

Method 2# A Lot Dirty / more thorough cleaning
